Thrust ball bearings are able to withstand high axial forces, but these bearings are not able to withstand radial forces at all, so under no circumstances will the round bearings be affected by radial force.
The difference between single-sided and double-sided floor bearings is in the direction of their axial load-bearing so that the two-sided round floor bearings can bear the axial load both from the top and from the bottom, but one-sided round bearings can only bear axial loads from one side.
